Major Airports in Omaha

Eppley Airfield (OMA) is the local airport servicing Omaha and handles over 90 airline flights on a daily basis. The airport is located only about four miles outside downtown Omaha and has 2 terminals; North and South. The facilities inside the airport are comfortable and there are various pizza outlets and delis alongside coffee bars and gift shops. There is even a pre-flight 18-hole golf course for passenger use.

Airport Transportation in Omaha

Due to its central location, there is a bus to Eppley Airfield. During rush hour, through weekdays, Metro Area Transport does have a service between North Omaha Transit Centre and downtown via the airfield. A taxi to Eppley Airfield is easy to arrange as the distance is not far from tourist areas, so the journey time can be as little as 10-15 minutes. Cabs sit outside door 2 on the South side of the terminal building. There is no train to Eppley Airfield. The Ground Transportation Centre within Eppley Airfield can offer shuttle service numbers and details if required.
