Nairobi is home to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) which is responsible for handling the bulk of the international air traffic coming to the city. The airport has a single runway and terminal, but is expanding rapidly and is in the process of adding new facilities and a second runway.

Wilson Airport is the second airport located in Nairobi and is responsible for handling most of the domestic flights. Located in the western part of the city, this airport is sometimes used for international flights too.

Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) is located only 15 km from the city centre. You can take a bus to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport from the city centre. The other main option is to travel by taxi to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Car hire services are also available at the airport if you want to drive yourself. There is no train to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at present.
