Muscat International Airport (MCT) serves the region and is located 32 km from Muscat, the capital of Oman. It is currently undergoing expansion and already serves over seven million passengers a year. Airport Transportation in Muscat

By road, the city centre is approximately 30 minutes away depending upon the volume of traffic. Due to the mountainous terrain in the region, there is no train to Muscat International Airport.
