Major Airports in Marrakech

Situated 6km to the south west of the city centre, the principal airport serving Marrakech is Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK). Firmly established and one of the busiest airports in Africa, over 3 million people pass through the terminal gates every year. The airport design is widely recognised as one of the most striking beautiful airports in the world. The airport has all the amenities you need including banking, ATM, foreign exchange and a VIP lounge.

Airport Transportation in Marrakech

The public bus to Menara Airport runs from the city centre to 800m outside the main terminal building. The service runs every 20 to 30 minutes. Departure times to Menara Airport vary; we advise checking the timetable prior to departure.

Most of the hotels in Marrakech operate a shuttle bus to Menara Airport. Check availability of this service before departure. At time of writing there is no train to Menara Airport. A taxi to Menara Airport is probably the most convenient method of transport. The journey time is about 15 minutes.
