Major Airports in London

Six international airports serve London with Heathrow (LHR) being the largest. Heathrow has five passenger terminals. Terminals 1 and 3 are a short walk from each other, while free trains and buses serve 4 and 5.

If you’re getting a train to Heathrow Airport, the Heathrow Express takes between 15 and 32 minutes depending on the terminal you need. Alternatively, you can get a bus to Heathrow Airport, which stops between Terminals 1 and 3. The station is open 24 hours and the travel centre is open from 06:00 to 22:30.

A taxi to Gatwick Airport will take close to 65 minutes while a train to Gatwick Airport takes 30 minutes. You can also catch a bus to Gatwick Airport. The trip lasts 1 hour 5 minutes.
