Arriving in Belgrade
Book your flights to Belgrade with Etihad Airways and experience one of the largest and longest theatre festivals in the world. Superior theatre and historical venues combine to provide an exhilarating experience.
Plan Your Belgrade Holiday
Every year, from 1 September to 1 October, Belgrade hosts its internationally acclaimed Belgrade International Theatre Festival (BITEF). The month-long festival of the arts showcases world-class theatrical productions on stages around the city. The festival is enhanced by the several historical theatre buildings in the city, which add to the overall experience.
Demand for accommodation in the city is high so finding cheap hotels in Belgrade at this time is particularly difficult. Tickets to Belgrade are equally hard to get at this time and it is recommended that you book as early as possible if you plan to travel to Belgrade for this festival. This is usually considered the peak tourist season in Belgrade and if you wish to avoid the crowds it is a good idea to consider going in the spring during the months of April to June. The weather is great for sightseeing at this time. Flight deals to Belgrade are always just a quick click away with Etihad’s fantastic Deals section.
