Major Airports in Denpasar

Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), also known as Denpasar International Airport, is Bali’s main airport and is the third largest international airport in the whole of Indonesia. The airport is situated just 13km south of Denpasar city, making transportation to the airport fairly easy.

The International Terminal is located in an L shaped building and was constructed in line with other traditional Balinese architecture. The airport provides a bus service to assist passengers in moving to and from the aircrafts.

Airport Transportation in Denpasar

In order to reach Denpasar International Airport, you will have to travel by road for about 40 minutes. You can take a taxi to Denpasar International Airport from the city but be careful to choose a metered cab or fix a price before your journey commences. Another alternative is to board a bus to Denpasar International Airport. Buses are available round the clock from the central bus terminal to the airport at regular intervals. There is no train to Denpasar International Airport.
