Major Airports in Dammam

Dammam is well known for having the largest airport in the world, The King Fahd International Airport (DMM). The airport serves many other cities of the Eastern Province in addition to Dammam as it is well-connected to all major Middle-East airports. It has two runways and a huge six-storey terminal building. The third level of the terminal building is used for arrivals and the sixth level is used for departures.

Airport Transportation in Dammam

You can board a bus to King Fahd International Airport from Dammam city centre. This journey takes about 30 minutes and is the cheapest method of travel. Buses are also available if you want to go to Al Khobar and/or Al-Hasa. Hire a taxi to King Fahd International Airport, if you want a more private, comfortable and quicker experience as the journey takes less time than a bus. A taxi will also drop you closer to the ground level of the terminal building. There is currently no train to King Fahd International Airport.
