Flying from Nur-Sultan to Kuwait City

Arriving in Kuwait City

Book your flights to Kuwait City with Etihad Airways and be prepared to experience the blending of tradition and progress in a luxury setting.

Plan Your Kuwait City Holiday

There are many reasons to travel to Kuwait City. History buffs will find several different historical sites in Kuwait City and the beaches are well kept and offer stunning vistas of the Arabian Sea. A visit to the National Museum is also a must for any trip to this country. Visit Souk Mubarakiya or just meander through the safe and scenic streets, the options are limitless.

November to April is the peak time of year for tourists to visit here. The weather is somewhat cooler and average temperatures hover around 18 degrees Celsius. It is a good idea to buy your tickets to Kuwait City fairly early if you plan on attending in late February as the 25th and 26th are national holidays and it is quite busy. If you can stand the heat of an Arabian Desert summer you can always find cheap hotels in Kuwait City through the months of May to October. Don’t forget to visit our Deals section to find flight deals to Kuwait City.

Flying from Nur-Sultan

Book your flights from Astana to numerous destinations all over the world with Etihad Airways and experience the in-flight service, fine dining and state-of-the-art entertainment that have made us the world's favourite airline.

Major Airports in Astana

The main airport in Astana is Astana International Airport (TSE). The first airfield in Astana was built in 1931 and has not stopped growing since then. With Astana being renamed the capital of Kazakhstan in 1994; the airport received an enormous upgrade to put it on par with other airports in capital cities. The current version was designed by Japanese architect Kisho Kurokawa and has been open since 2005.

Airport Transportation in Astana

A taxi to Astana International Airport can be arranged and while it is more expensive than a bus, you will get to the airport a lot faster. There is a bus to Astana International Airport from the city centre that leaves every thirty minutes. If you plan far enough in advance this is a fantastic option for those who are travelling on a budget. Unfortunately there is no direct train to Astana International Airport from the city so taxis, buses or driving is advised.

Choose Etihad Airways, the National Airline of the United Arab Emirates, for flights from Nur-Sultan to Kuwait City on which you will be travelling in comfort and style.
