Major Airports in Islamabad

Benazir Bhutto International Airport (ISB) is the major airport in Islamabad and it is located outside of the city centre. The Terminal offers several lounges and connecting points for phone recharging as well as a large contingent of ATMs. There is wifi available throughout the terminal as well. There are several shops including souvenir and craft shops, there is also duty free shopping available to international passengers. The airport also offers various cafes and restaurants.

Airport Transportation in Islamabad

You can take a mini bus to Benazir Bhutto International Airport from the city center of Islamabad. The ride takes about an hour but you will also have to wait for the bus to fill up before it leaves so you may want to start heading to the airport pretty early. There is no train to Benazir Bhutto International Airport currently. You can take a taxi to Benazir Bhutto International Airport if you need the extra cargo space. They are a little more expensive but are much more flexible than a mini bus.
