Travellers can catch a bus to Christchurch International Airport, as 3 different bus routes connect the airport to the city centre. A taxi to Christchurch International Airport is also available for those willing to spend more for flexibility. We advise travellers to take the shuttle, as this option provides a good balance of cost and convenience, and any of the available travel options take approximately 20 minutes between the city and the airport. There is currently no train to Christchurch International Airport from the city.
