There is also public transportation from various points in the city. You can get a taxi to Bandaranaike International Airport, which are run by the airport’s own taxi service. Some of the taxis are air-conditioned and are available on request. There is no train to Bandaranaike International Airport but there is a station less than 1 km away from the airport.
