Major Airports in Kuwait City

There is only one airport in Kuwait City and it is the Kuwait International Airport (KWI). It is situated 9.6 miles to the south of the city in Farwaniyah. Part of the airport is home to the Kuwait Air Force and the Kuwait Air Force Museum, so if you find you are early to catch your flight be sure to visit the museum. The airport welcomes almost seven million visitors a year and a new terminal will soon increase the airports capacity. The airport houses its own mall designed to resemble a wide body aircraft.
