Chennai International Airport (MAA) handles over 18,000 passengers a day. It is one of the busiest airports in India, handling both passengers and cargo. You can take a train to Chennai International Airport. Tirusulam Station is opposite the airport and trains run between here and Park Station in the city centre. A bus to Chennai International Airport is also available from Main Road; buses from Pallavam, Tambararn and Parry’s Corner will take you to the airport. A private taxi to Chennai International Airport can be accessed from the pre-paid counters at various prominent places in the city. There are also good parking facilities and car rental available on site.
