Located on Jalan Gunung Sahari about 30 minutes from downtown Jakarta, Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK) provides the greater Jakarta area of the island with international flights.

This airport has a total of two terminals servicing nine million passengers each year. Airport Transportation in Jakarta

You can take a bus to Jakarta Airport or from the airport to the city centre. Primajasa and Damri are major companies operating bus services in the city from 4am to 7pm on a daily basis. Depending on the traffic, it may take about an hour to reach the city from the airport.

Alternately, you can take the train to Jakarta airport for a very reasonable price. Manggarai station is connected to the airport by the commuter rail system. Take a taxi to Jakarta airport for a more private journey.
